I don’t want to scare you, but Christmas is coming (and my lordy am I EXCITED!).

If you read the blog or follow my instagram, you probably know that I am a big fan of everything South Australian. We have some of the most amazing products and businesses on our doorstep- we really are so lucky. Because of that, it makes shopping local and South Australian so easy, especially when it comes to gift giving. I’m trying to make more an effort giving gifts from small SA business this year as it makes the process even more rewarding.

If you’re looking for some ideas, here’s what’s on my SA Christmas wishlist this year.

Frog Cake Womens T-shirt.

Designed by Billie Justice Thomson- because who wouldn’t want this delicious little morsel on their shirt. Available on the Shop South Australia website from $24.95, available in both mens and womens sizes.

Red, red wine

Hi my names Jess and finally after all these years my taste buds have decided to fall in love with red wine. Some on the wish list this year include Mitolo Wines, Golden Child wines Shiraz and Light Red Wine and S.C Pannell’s Montepulciano. All available online and at respective cellar doors.

Etikette Candles

These candles are made in the Adelaide Hills and they are so damn dreamy. I’m hooked on scents of sea salt caramel and figgy pudding. Even more special is that they are named after some of my favourite places- Lobethal, Willunga, the Fleurieu Peninsula and Yorkes.

Oh Deer Sugar bath products

I am a big fan of self-care, and one way I love to practice that is by having a big ol bath. Baths are made way more fun (and instagrammable) by adding Oh Deer Sugars range of awesome waffle bath bombs, shower mousses and exfoliaters. I’ve got my eye on their Use Your Melon shower mousse and Mystery Waffle.

Papergoods from Rhicreative

As a avid list writer (and re-writer) I love to be surrounded by all of the gorgeous stationary. I’m head over heels in love with Rhicreative’s range of paper goods, including notebooks in hues of pink and their 2018 calendar that’s covered in watercolours.

5 days of Sukha Life

Okay, so I’m trying to cut back on the epic brunches and try and focus on eating healthier (kinda sucking at it though). I’m absolutely loving the idea of Sukha Life’s new meal options and think that giving/receiving the gift of food is such a cool idea, especially for those who can be time poor, or just want a healthy, delicious feed. Sign me up!

Pip Kruger Tea Towels

I feel like these tea towels would make washing up way more fun. I’ve already got my hands on their ‘Adelaide’ one but need to add the ‘Almighty Pav’ and ‘Native Birds’ to the collection (I’m even contemplating framing them they’re that pretty!). Anything to make the dishes less of a bore too.

Borderco Spoons

Justine Bolzon is the woodwork queen and makes the most amazing spoons, bowls and all things wooden. I’ve been eyeing off her spatulas and spoons for ages now and think Christmas might be the time to take the plunge. Check out her instagram for products and prepare to fall in love.

Emma Kate Co’s wall art and linen banners

Emma Kate may live in Melbourne, but I’m still claiming her as an Adelaidian. Emma makes the most dreamiest prints and her new linen banners are next level beautiful. I’m a sucker for her ‘Little Dreamer’ banner and ‘Let’s Go Places’ wall art, but let’s be honest, you can’t go wrong with anything in her shop.

Tohl the label earrings

Nothing screams a good time like bright colours and tassles, and Tohl gives you exactly that. I’ve been eyeing off their earrings for a long time now, and are obsessed with their ‘Ballbreaker’ and pink ‘Festival’ earrings. How can you not have a fab time when you have tassles and pom poms hanging from your lobes!

Do you have any amazing SA made products on your Christmas wishlist? I’d love to know what they are- just drop me a line in the comments below! x
