it’s a warm adelaide day. the sun is beaming and there is not a cloud in the sky. seems rather fitting to try MISTER SUNSHINE’S for lunch don’t you think?
and glad we did.
with interiors like this, how can you not be happy?
greeted with a enthusiastic welcome from a larger than life personality we were quickly seated and given our latte’s (damn good lattes at that). the atmosphere was buzzing. the staff were upbeat, super friendly and it was refreshing to hear a laugh from the kitchen. mister sunshine’s has plenty of seating inside and outside but we settled inside at the window bay surrounded by succulents, wattle and decor that reminded me of my grandmas house.
offering breakfast all day the other half ordered (and devoured) a bacon and egg sanga. at $9 it was massive and had that delicious runny yolk that you dream about. I had the pleasure of eating a pomegranate, pear and haloumi salad. on most occasions when the menu states ‘haloumi’ you would think that you would get 3 pieces on a good day. well in this salad there was so much haloumi that I even left some on the plate because I was so full. madness I know!
to go along with our tasty lunches we sipped on a pine and mint crush smoothie (think a creamy combo of pineapple and mint) and a ginger beer. mister sunshine’s has a long list of drinks including fresh juices, smoothies, teas and coffees.
so whether you are hungry for brekky, lunch, or brunch then look no further then mister sunshine’s. if your feeling a little flat before you go I can guarantee that this place will boost your mood and make you leave feeling a million bucks (and incredibly full)
you can find mister sunshine’s at 32 george street, Theberton.
